Accidentally Removed Folder in Windows

Being a photographer clicking random and attractive photograph is my hobby. I use to click pictures of flowers, animals and many random street clicks. Some of were the portrait photo shoot of Struggling Actors.

Due to bulk data of images I always use to create a backup of my images into my laptop which has an operating system of windows 10. The pics of every event were segmented into different folders into my laptop.

One day I was just deleting some of the unwanted folders in my laptop and unfortunately I removed one of my important folder. As I was permanently deleting the folder by using Shift+Delete so it was permanently removed from the system.

It was a very shocking moment for me because I had lost all my Portrait Pose photographs of my clients. The problem was that will i be able to restore those deleted folders.

I made a research on internet and found two easy ways of getting those folders back:-

1- Previous Version Formula- In this it was mentioned that

• First of all create a new folder
• Then change its name same as the title of the lost folder
• Right Click on it and selecting “Restore Previous Version” Option
• Then choosing “Latest Updated Folder” from the list
• Select Restore

I tried this but i was unable to retrieve the deleted folder.

Then I tried the next formula which was Retrieving through History.

I opened the history folder and in the search bar I searched for my folder by its name but was unable to find it.

Two back to back failures in retrieving deleted  folders was just irritating me and making me tensed.

Then scrolling down the web I found an expert recovery tool for restoring the deleted  folders into my laptop. First i tried the free version and after getting satisfied I purchased that tool. So with an online help assistant I was easily able to use that tool and finally i got all my deleted folders back.

I was satisfied with that tool but there were some positive and negative points for that tool:-

Strengths-

• Easy to use.
• Can Restore ‘n’ numbers of deleted folders.
• Time effective.
• Retrieves Deleted folders in windows.
• Can be run on any version of windows.

Weaknesses-

• Doesn’t Supports linux.
• Not Compatible with Mac.

I personally recommend the Mac users not to use this tool because it is unsupported. On the other hand for the window users no other tool is better than this tool.
