Outlook PST file can hold many data at one place. It has a capacity of holding massive confidential details at one place. So if your data is so important and confidential then you must protect it by securing it with a password.
Reasons for Setting Password to Outlook PST file.

- For Outlook 2007 “Open Tool Tab” & For Outlook 2010 “Open File Tab”.
- Click on “Account Setting” option.
- A Pop Up will appear. Under “Data” Tab Click on “Settings”.
- Again a Pop Menu will Open. Click on “Change Password”
- Then type your desired password you want.
